The paper introduces the status of experiment on Zhennong sorghum and corn in Kuytun, Xinjiang,and it is showed that Zhennong sorghum and corn, with good palatability and high digestibility, are more suitable for planting as silage in this region, and the density per hectare is suggested to be 0.1-0.11 million strains. However, the varieties of the two crops are not unsuitable to be planted as breeds, so the paper presents their defects and phenotypic expression that need to be improved.
